We get it, you're a bad-ass ninja, who puts 120% into everything you do.

Physical rest can be the easiest to identify.

Our bodies tend to let us know when we're in pain or need a nap.

It can be passive i.e. sleeping or active i.e. yoga, stretching, massage, exercise.

A mix of active and passive rest is needed to be truly physically replenished.

TOP 3 TIPS FOR PHYSICAL REST:

Sleep

There are lots of different ways to rest, but if you're physically tired then it's definitely a bit of extra sleep that you need. If this is unachievable, micro-naps of 15-30 minutes work wonders. 

Movement

It may seem counter-intuitive but movement can actually also really help to relieve physical exhaustion, especially if you spend a lot of time sat still at your desk in the day.

Regular work breaks to stretch and have a shake about can oxygenate the body and provide you with more energy.

Dedication 

Consistency is key when it comes to improving your need for physical rest. A little change each day is better than one big change sporadically. Choose a physical place that you dedicate to rest. This way your body learns to wind down here.
